The Story Behind
Thirty-five years ago, following a fascinating career in computer programming, Benny Jacobs set up Computer Precision – CiPi for short – in Upper Street, just by the Islington Town Hall. The location is ideal for Londoners, being very close to the heart of London’s shopping and commercial districts but still easily accessible.
Over the years, we have grown into a great team, and we are as loyal to our customers as we are to our Company. As a result we still have customers who date back to beginnings of our venture, and most of our team have been with us for years, even decades. Our customers have enjoyed the consistency of knowing us by name, and being able to contact anyone without the usual barriers.

Our team
Benny
Benny set up Computer Precision in 1985, and continues as the company’s Managing Director. Systems are his speciality, but he is also very focused on customer service. Benny is a frontline manager, who understands what it is like to be a customer, and therefore gets problems sorted out quickly.
Woody
Woody is the invisible hand which makes your problem go away, usually before you know you have a problem. He specialises in systems, from their specification and design to their installation and maintenance both for networking and for small to medium size businesses.
Motki
Motki is a computer industry veteran and geek. Patient, calm and steady, Motki has time for everyone, and has been with us for over 20 years. In charge of our workshop, he is our laptop and PC specialist with a gentle sense of humour and the ability to make the sickest PC fit and well again. Customers ask for him by name.
Sunil
Sunil is a skilled engineer. His passion is solving customer IT problems and advising them on what solutions will be right for them. He has a can-do attitude and is always looking for new and better methods of problem solving. With no problem too big, Sunil radiates well-placed cheerful confidence. He is calm, unflappable under pressure, and always has a smile and a solution. A more recent hiring, we’re delighted he’s joined us.
Debbie
Debbie is a great asset to our sales department department. Helpful, responsive and very much concerned with the detail of the business, from ordering the right parts at the right price to ensuring that customers know they’re getting a good deal from a thorough, action-orientated professional. She’s very tough on us internally if we should ever take our eye off the ball.
